Cargo & Mail Handling
Collect cargo and mail documents from the flight crew upon arrival or handover of outgoing cargo and mail documents. We ensure all relevant documents are complete and accurate and hand over the collected documents (partly or fully) to the designated handling agent. Confirm receipt and ensure all documents are signed off appropriately and organize the files in a systematic manner for easy retrieval. Maintain copies of all incoming/outgoing cargo and mail documents for the airline’s records. Our team will verify the proper handling of the Notification to Captain (NOTOC), which contains details of any dangerous goods on board and ensure that copies of NOTOC are filed and that the flight crew is informed as necessary. Our supervisors will communicate effectively with handling agents to resolve any issues or discrepancies in cargo and mail documentation. By following these structured responsibilities, we can ensure efficient and compliant handling of cargo and mail for the airline.
